Hotel Accommodation in North Wales.

This  delightfully situated country escape is located about three miles south of Betws-y-Coed, a mecca for tourists in beautiful Snowdonia. There are 18 en-suite bedrooms, a self contained holiday flat, bar, lounge, and restaurant, all set in four acres of grounds alongside the river Lledr.

 

Most of the hotel’s rooms have their own unique view of the hotel grounds, river and the surrounding valley. Colour televisions, DVD and video players are provided with access to a library of films. Hostess trays are also provided offering tea, coffee and biscuits.  Some rooms have balconies accessed through French doors.

Our guests can relax in the tranquil grounds or walk to one of several vantage points on adjoining National Trust property. Enjoy a light snack or bar meal or dine in our restaurant.

 

Location.

Snowdonia is the second largest National Park in Britain and arguably the most beautiful. The hotel is a short drive from the lakes and mountains that make this area so popular.

 

Walking.

Famous walks through the most beautiful Lledr Valley-ancient forests, lush water meadows, soaring mountain tops-Plas Hall central to 20 listed walks East of Snowdon - info on all in breaks - packed lunches / discounted rates especially midweek -children welcome.

 

Fishing

Guests are invited to take advantage of the hotel’s fishing rights on the River Lledr where trout and salmon may be caught in season. Walking by the river, you may be lucky enough to spot leaping trout or salmon, or otters.

History of Plas Hall
Plas Hall was originally built in 1829 by a local mine owner as a private residence. The house has been extended several times during its life and was converted to a hotel in the early 1980’s.
