Local Attractions:
The Conwy Valley and Snowdonia National Park contain some of the most beautiful areas in Wales with numerous local attractions and places to visit. The walled town of Conwy and its castle, the picture post card village of Betws-y-Coed and places less widely known such as Llanrwst, Trefriw with its woollen mill, and Rowan. The region offers slate caverns, copper mines, gold mines, walking, climbing, orienteering, sailing, wind surfing, swimming, narrow gauge railways, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing, castles, and wonderful gardens such as Bodnant.

Aviation Museum: Caernarfon Airport. See an impressive collection of aircraft, most of which have combat history.
Agri Theatre & Sheepdog Centre  Insight into the work of shepherds and their dogs.
Copper Mine. Great Orme, Llandudno. Take a tram from Llandudno and explore 3,500 year old passages & bronze age cavern.
Copper Mine. Sygun, Beddgelert.. Spectacular underground audio visual experience, nature trail, pottery painting, archery etc.   
Bodnant Garden:  Tal-y-cafn, Colwyn Bay. Eighty acres of gardens in the Conwy Valley.
Electric Mountain & Hydro Centre. Llanberis & Ffestiniog. Two of the greatest construction achievements of the 20th century.
Ffestiniog Railway. Best narrow-gauge steam railway in the U.K.
Snowdon Mountain Railway. Train rides from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon - not to be missed!
Trefriw Woollen Mills.  Working museum and shop established in 1859. Working carding,spinning, & hydro machines.

Fishing: Enjoy seasonal fly fishing in the River Lledr within our grounds. Our fishing right extend to 600 metres from which trout and salmon are commonly caught and featured on our menu!

 

Murder Mystery Weekends :  Whodunit weekends. Special party rates available, or just come and enjoy being a detective!  

 

Pony Trekking : Pony trekking weekends (or longer!) can be arranged in leas ion with nearby Ty Coch Farm Riding & Trekking Stables.
