The walled town of Conwy and its castle, the picture post card village of Betws-y-Coed and places less widely known such as Llanrwst, Trefriw with its woollen mill, and Rowan. The region offers slate caverns, copper mines, gold mines, walking, climbing, orienteering, sailing, wind surfing, swimming, narrow gauge railways, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing, castles, and wonderful gardens such as Bodnant.
